It will run until mid-January and finish off with a two hour season finale (which will equal episodes 12 and 13). Angel will then be moving from it's Sunday timeslot into the 'Birds' Wednesday timeslot.
Do you have something you want to say to Ashley or the rest of the cast about thier work on the series? Want to send them a thank you for entertaining you each week. A book is being put together with this purpose in mind. [Click here for more info.]

11.19.2002:: It's not over till the fat lady sings, but the WB just might have sung already and put the last nail in the coffin. Several Online news sources have reported, despite earlier news from a WB affiliate to the contrary, that the series will not be getting it's full season order:
BYE BYE BIRDIE: The WB has reportedly grounded Birds of Prey for good. Sources say the network axed the superhero drama on Monday due to low ratings. In related news, the WB has has snatched Grounded for Life away from Fox. The series will move to the Frog Network in March as a Friday night companion to Reba. -- from: TVguide.com

11.18.2002:: It seems the ratings drop last week was a really bad sign for the future of the "Birds of Prey" series. It's more important than ever you get as many people as you can to watch this Wednesday and during November sweeps. The final nail isn't in the coffin, but it's coming close. Click the banner above for news about the campaign.
Ashley Scott in LA: Fans of Ashley Scott can catch herself and Ian Ambercrombie as one of the guests appearing at the monthly comic book convention at the Shrine Auditorium. Reported by gotham clock tower. See them for more details
11.16.2002:: Unfortunatly, there was a ratings dip for Primal Scream, we are below last week and the full season order is still, as yet, unconfirmed. 11.08.02:: It's been a fun ride, but is the ride soon to come to an end? Ratings this week were slightly better than last week (according to the overnights, which aren't final numbers) and the series is still carrying the Dawson's Creek audience and doing better than Felicity did in the same timeslot last year. But is the series still in trouble? See article below:
An anonymous source inside the Birds of Prey production has informed us that The WB is not picking up the comic book series for the full season. We have to stress that this hasn't been confirmed with The WB, but we don't see of any reason why the source would be misinformed.

However, the latest WB press release reporting a good Wednesday night line up...
Through the first week of the November 2002 sweep, the network enjoys double-digit ratings growth across the board fueled by another record-breaking Tuesday performance by SMALLVILLE and GILMORE GIRLS and the strong Wednesday tandem of BIRDS OF PREY and DAWSON'S CREEK.

So what's to happen with Birds? At the moment it seems to be walking a fine line and could go either way. If you want to do something to help it lean in fan favor, it's important to put a pen to paper (not e-mail or online petitions, which helps but doesn't make as big an impact). I cannot stress how important it is. The only thing as important is getting people to tune in. So if you enjoy the series and like to see it continue, please use one of the address below to let the people in charge know you'd like to see much more of the Birds of Prey in the future.
