ASHLEY SCOTT IS WALKING TALL

Ashley Scott is one of those bizarre but very familiar Hollywood success stories. Every once in a while, you'll see an attractive young lady in a film with a small walk-on part, and you just know it's only a matter of time before someone else discovers her. Before you know it, she's on the cover of magazines and, well, playing The Rock's girlfriend.

Ashley got her start in modeling (of course), which eventually lead to a cameo in Steven Spielberg's Artificial Intelligence: AI as Gigolo Jane. She actually made quite an impression on us in that film. Perhaps it was the way she said "Hey Joe, what do you know?" Perhaps it was her striking purple hair. Perhaps it was that skin-tight vinyl-leather costume-thing she was wearing. Anyway, we had a feeling we'd definitely be seeing more of her in the very near future.

And thus is thus. Suddenly, she was Ashton Kutcher's girlfriend and appearing opposite Jessica Alba on James Cameron's Dark Angel series. The following year she headlined the WB's short-lived Birds of Prey series as The Huntress. She's since appeared in S.W.A.T. as Colin Farrell's girlfriend and now as The Rock's love interest in Walking Tall.

What's next for this Southern belle? She'll be running around in a bikini in this fall's Into the Blue, opposite super-hunk Paul Walker and her Dark Angel co-star Jessica Alba. There are also wedding bells on her radar, as she recently got engaged to Anthony Rhulen, producer of The Butterfly Effect. And we're sure she'll continue to break hearts everywhere without remorse or regret. Being the romantic masochists that we are, we don't really mind.
